Where I am from

I am from cricket bats and our sweet sacred playgrounds

From paper and pencil,that craves for the highest grade

From computer screen,hands that breaks the board

Playing endless football games

I am from thrills and kicks

received from on the edge of the seat quizzes

I am from discipline and honesty

And restrictions galore

I am from freedom and rebellion

To break from daily mundane chore

I am from poems and songs

From ideas and idiosyncrasies

My obsession for chocolate delicacies

From emotions to heartbreak

Gentle runs in the greens

I am from education and efficacy

Where safety is supreme

I am from rocks and classic

Soothing,soulful and sometimes tragic

I am from senses and intuition

Evolving my being,with love and compassion

I am from innocence,calm and spiritual zone

At times,rash and error prone

I am from lone lovely hills

Pearls,ridges and limestone

I am from caves and culture
